Maidstone Boys Primary League Vetting Meeting 16th May 2018
Tonight’s the night, Park Regis JFC have to attend the Maidstone Boys Primary League Vetting Meeting.
This will be attended by club secretary John Padmore and next season’s U12 manager Charlie Donoghue at the Gallagher Stadium In Maidstone.
The club are applying to enter this league for next season, so that our u12’s can continue playing league football, after their final successful year in the Invicta Primary League in the U11 age group.
We will be grilled by the vetting panel to see if we are suitable and able to rejoin the league.
We were in the league the season before last, but with teams folding and moving on to play in The Kent League, we had no teams in the groups U12-U16 last season to enter the league, so we find ourselves having to reapply to join.
There have been major changes in the committee and officers in the league over the past season, indeed I understand the league nearly folded due to the lack of volunteers coming forward to help run the league, but these problems have been over come and the league is now back on track.
Wish us luck!
